2) WILL ACTIVITIES BE INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?
90% of our activities are planned for outdoor play. Due to COVID-19 we have had to adapt our days to ensure we are mitigating risks, therefore even when the weather is not the best, we will be playing outdoors. Of course if the weather is really bad we will move indoors, and there will be plenty of breaks for the groups out of the sun in our class rooms.
Please ensure that your child has suitable clothing including a waterproof jacket / coat for outdoor play.

4) WHAT TO BRING
Own hand sanitiser - we have plenty on site but best practice to bring your own with you
Packed lunch with name on – Full & extended day only
Plenty of Snacks to last the day
Plenty of Water with name on (refills available all day) - but please no fizzy drinks
Suitable clothing & footwear for MAJORITY OUTDOOR play with name on - No studded football boots, just trainers or astro turf trainers
Medication and permission slip – if necessary
Please note that we are a NUT FREE camp, so please do not pack any nut based food or snacks.
5) COVID-19
Our camps are running in line with government and sporting guidance and lots of extra work has been put in to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all involved.
We ask that if you, your child, or anyone in your household is displaying syptoms of COVID-19, that you do not attend Camp. The safety of everyone is paramount this summer. Symptoms include:
a high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)
a new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)
a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you've noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal

6) HOW TO FIND US?
Ensure you have put the full address in your Sat Nav - Margaret Roper Catholic Primary School, Russell Hill Road, Purley, CR8 2XP
The school is situated on the same site as Thomas More CS - for those that have attended our Campz before
When you enter the school site, look out for our big yellow flags - see video below :)
Leader Dan has done a very nice (breathless 🤣) video for you showing you the route to take on site! Have a watch so you get the general idea....follow the yellow flagged road 🙂
6) OUR CAMP LEADERS
All of our camp leaders have worked with us for over 2 years, and we are all great friends at work and away from work! We feel this is super important to create an awesome experience for you and your Superstar.
90% of our small team are aged 26 and over, with Ryan being our youngest leader aged 17, so we only have camp leaders with us that we know are mature enough and experienced enough to make our camp days special
3/4 of our team are parents themselves, so they know how to best manage children ;)
Our Summer Camp team is made up of Ashley, Dan, Gonçalo, Lewis, Ryan, Ike, Stefan, and Carolle. Andrea will also be behind the scenes on our emails and phones - AND WE CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU ALL 🤩
All of our leaders have undergone ongoing training and recently have completed our COVID-19 training to ensure this summer will be compliant with Government guidance.
7) YOUR HAPPINESS IS OUR PRIORITY THIS SUMMER
We really mean it when we say this! It's been a torrid year for everyone and we will ensure your Superstar forgets about it all and can have tonnes of fun with us.
